Autodesk UK Subscription Cancellation: Auto-Renewal and Reseller Plans

An Autodesk customer may have bought software through Autodesk directly or through a reseller. That purchase channel matters when looking for the correct renewal control and a contact for questions about an existing agreement.

Checking the relevant terms

Autodesk’s account-support guidance describes how a qualifying directly purchased subscription can be managed in Autodesk Account, including turning off automatic renewal. An agreement bought through a reseller may need to be handled by that seller. A cancelled future renewal and a refund of an earlier charge are distinct requests with different terms. Read the official Autodesk policy or help page for the company’s own wording and any product-specific changes.

Putting in a return request

Open Autodesk Account and check Billing and Orders for the product and the payment route recorded there. Find the renewal setting for the relevant subscription, follow the displayed steps and retain any confirmation. If the subscription is not listed as a direct order, use the reseller named on the purchase document instead of assuming the account control can cancel its billing.

Our Adobe cancellation guide covers another professional software service; Adobe’s plan terms must not be used to calculate an Autodesk renewal.

An example to consider

A small business owner has two Autodesk products, one purchased directly and one through a local reseller. Switching off renewal for the direct product is not evidence that the reseller agreement has also ended; check each invoice and subscription separately.

For a charge you want queried, use Autodesk’s official support information and the specific order details. Do not infer an automatic refund from a change in the renewal toggle or from losing access at the end of the paid term.
