Clinique UK Returns: Free Royal Mail, Counter Orders and Wrong Items
Direct Clinique orders versus concession purchases
Clinique’s UK online returns instructions distinguish a web order from makeup bought from a concession or another cosmetics retailer. For a qualifying direct purchase the brand offers a complimentary return route using its returns note and Royal Mail label procedure. See Clinique’s UK guidance on direct clinique orders versus concession purchases for the original policy wording.
Using the right parcel note and Royal Mail option
Check the Clinique confirmation email for the web order number, fill in the provided return documentation and enclose it in the parcel. Use the official label instructions and save the Post Office receipt; an ordinary mailing label printed for a different brand, even a sister company, is not suitable for this order.
Reporting a damaged or wrongly supplied item
If a skincare product was delivered broken, Clinique asks for the order details and to retain the goods, box and packing materials while its support team assesses the report. Do not assume that opening a hygiene-sealed product for an unwanted return has the same conditions as reporting damage that was present on delivery.
Suppose you placed an online order for moisturiser but received the wrong size, while a separate Clinique item was a gift purchased from a department store. Identify the merchant on each receipt first. Send a direct-site picking error to Clinique’s customer service and follow the store’s procedure for the gift.
If the receipt is actually from Boots, use the retailer’s own order and returns instructions rather than creating a direct-brand web return.
What to check before chasing the refund
Clinique provides a refund processing timeframe in its UK guidance. Check whether the parcel is still in transit or has been accepted for refund before asking why the money is not yet on your card.
