Estée Lauder UK Returns: Free Royal Mail and Fragrance Parcels
Estée Lauder’s updated UK online returns guidance offers a free return within 30 days for eligible direct purchases. The company tells customers to use the returns note and its Royal Mail label process. Fragrance may require additional carrier labelling and suitable outer packaging; posting perfume as an ordinary unlabelled parcel can cause problems. See Estée Lauder’s UK guidance on what the 30-day offer covers for the original policy wording.
Royal Mail returns and fragrance handling
Locate the web order and complete the official returns note. Repack the items securely, following the fragrance instructions if relevant, and use the retailer’s complimentary Royal Mail route. If you independently buy different postage, the brand says that extra postage is not reimbursed. Retain the proof of posting and the order email.
Buying from a counter versus directly online
The online policy cannot process purchases made at a partnered department-store counter or airport outlet. Those have the seller’s own till record. Estée Lauder’s current policy also says online orders are returned by post rather than being refunded over a UK company-store counter. Estée Lauder’s further instructions explain the related conditions.
If the receipt is actually from Boots, use the retailer’s own order and returns instructions rather than creating a direct-brand web return.
An order-specific example
Imagine a foundation arrives with a broken pump while the rest of the order is fine. Record the condition with photographs, keep the box and packing note, and report the issue via the brand’s official messaging route. An unwanted but usable shade calls for an eligibility check, not a fabricated damage reason.
Broken packaging and refund processing
For an accepted direct online return, Estée Lauder gives a processing period after receipt and refunds the original payment method. If that period has passed, provide the tracking and returns note details to the official customer-care service.
