Travelodge UK Cancellation: Flexible, Semi-Flex and Lowest Rates

A Travelodge booking’s rate name matters more than the fact that every room looks similar when you arrive. Flexible, Semi-Flex and Lowest Rate bookings carry different arrangements if plans change.

Find the rate on the Travelodge booking

Travelodge’s booking terms describe Flexible Rate reservations as refundable when cancelled through Manage Booking or the reservations team before the stated cut-off. For an unused Flexible Rate stay, the published deadline is before noon on the check-in date. The document distinguishes this from discounted Semi-Flex and Lowest Rate bookings, which it says are non-refundable under their ordinary terms.

Flexible versus discounted rooms

Extras can also change the figure returned: the terms explain that a qualifying Flexible Rate cancellation refunds room costs and relevant food-and-beverage extras, but not necessarily other paid extras or booking fees. Do not assume changing dates is always a free amendment; the rate and hotel may not be amendable in the way a guest expects.

What a Lowest Rate receipt means

If you book a cheap room and only later notice Lowest Rate on the confirmation, do not rely on a Flexible Rate description you found elsewhere on the website. Read the terms attached to your own reference before choosing Cancel.

Record the cancellation

Save the booking number and any cancellation confirmation. If you checked in already and want to end later nights, use the hotel’s published process for a multi-night booking, not the pre-arrival cancellation control by assumption.
