Roman UK Returns: Seller Brands, £3 Parcels and Store Credit

You order one Roman-supplied dress and a separate Seller Brand cardigan through the same website basket. Verify each line’s seller and register the corresponding return; do not rely on a Roman shop accepting the cardigan because it arrived with the dress.

Check the seller printed against each item

Roman’s website can sell items supplied directly by Roman and products marked “Sold and Delivered by” a separate Seller Brand. Its return instructions route these categories differently. For a multi-item order, inspect the order details for every garment before assuming the parcel label or local Roman shop will accept all of them together.

A shop return is not always money back to your card

For eligible Roman-supplied website purchases, the retailer describes a 30-day standard period. Its shop route can offer a free size or item exchange, or a refund onto a gift card, rather than a cash refund at the till. Postal returns of eligible website items have a £3 per-parcel deduction under the displayed policy. A concession counter is not the same as a Roman-owned shop.

Third-party purchases have their own records

Roman explicitly says items bought on Next, Amazon or another third-party website should be returned to the original seller under its procedures. Roman’s shop route also excludes certain online faulty-item returns, which its guidance directs towards the correct postal process. Keep the parcel reference and proof of payment if the online refund does not appear after processing.

The Roman UK policy separates direct stock, Seller Brand items, shop purchases and third-party sales.

If the item was sold by John Lewis, check that retailer’s purchase-channel rules and proof-of-purchase requirements instead.
