The Fragrance Shop UK Returns: 90 Days, RMA Numbers and Seals

What the 90-day headline does and does not include

The Fragrance Shop’s published returns page advertises a 90-day return period for qualifying online orders. It also requires a returns authorisation number for postal returns and stresses retaining the bottle and its original packaging. A fragrance that was engraved or has been opened may not have the same voluntary eligibility as an unwanted sealed purchase. See The Fragrance Shop’s UK guidance on what the 90-day headline does and does not include for the original policy wording.

Getting an RMA before mailing perfume

Find the order in your account, request a return authorisation through the official online process and follow the confirmation email’s shipping instructions. Put the RMA number on the outside of the parcel as directed. If you choose to bring an eligible web order to a participating shop, take the e-receipt and retain the outer packaging.

Wrong fragrances, opened seals and engraved gifts

Unlike a routine unwanted-item return, the company asks customers to report a damaged, incorrect or incomplete delivery promptly through customer services; its help page identifies a 72-hour reporting window for certain delivery issues. That customer-service request should describe the item and the damaged or missing packaging accurately. The Fragrance Shop’s further instructions explain the related conditions.

Suppose a fragrance bottle has arrived with its cellophane intact but is the wrong size. Do not peel off the wrapper to inspect it if the problem is clear from the label. Keep the box and order details together and ask for the correct returns route. An engraved gift needs a separate check of the exclusions.

If the bottle was purchased through The Perfume Shop, the retailer’s original order governs its return request rather than another fragrance shop’s RMA.

Checking the authorised refund after return

The retailer’s terms distinguish standard unwanted products, wrong orders and personalised items. Keep the RMA confirmation and the tracked parcel receipt in case the refund does not match what customer services authorised.
