Temu UK Returns: First Free Return, QR Codes and Refund Choices

Temu’s first free return is attached to an order, not a blanket promise that every parcel you post back will be free. Check the return screen for the particular order before combining unwanted items or selecting credit instead of a refund to the original payment method.

Start in the Temu return screen

Sign in, open Your orders, choose Return/Refund and select the items and reasons. The flow can ask for pictures if an item arrived damaged or unlike the description. It then shows whether the item must be posted back, a return method, and the refund method offered for that request.

Read the Temu official guidance alongside the relevant help or terms for the purchase you actually made.

What the first free return covers

Temu’s UK help describes the first return for each order as free and refers to Evri, Royal Mail and InPost hand-over options. It also notes that refunds for a damaged or misdescribed order may involve sending goods back, rather than always issuing an immediate no-return credit. Some items have different eligibility, so use the actual screen shown for your purchase.

Two items sent back separately

If a jumper and a phone case arrive together but you decide to return them on different days, check the return options before creating two labels. The first-free-return arrangement applies per order, making the second request a different question from the first.

Check the refund before submitting

Save the confirmation page, the QR code or label and the carrier receipt. Where the refund amount differs from the displayed item price, check how discounts and credits were applied on the order details before reporting a discrepancy through Temu support.

A seller-to-seller marketplace follows different rules: our eBay UK returns article explains why you should not assume Temu’s label arrangements apply to another platform.
