Selfridges Returns UK: Online Orders, Store Purchases and Klarna
A purchase made at a Selfridges till is not returned on the same clock as a parcel delivered from Selfridges online. Its published UK instructions use different starting points, and the payment method or luxury brand can restrict where a return is accepted.

Online orders and shop purchases
For an online purchase, visit the official return page and register the return within 14 days of delivery or collection; Selfridges then sets out a further 14 days to send the item back. Its complimentary UK routes include a paperless Royal Mail option and, for qualifying orders, a collection service. Store purchases have a 14-day window measured from purchase.
When the item or payment method changes the route
Selfridges says Klarna online orders cannot be returned or exchanged in store; use post or its courier route instead. Certain Prada, Christian Louboutin and fine-jewellery purchases have separate boutique or mail restrictions. Verify the return-exceptions page rather than relying on the rule for an ordinary shirt.
A sale purchase made in store
If you have a sale coat bought in store, do not assume that the online-sale refund wording applies: the in-store sale conditions may instead specify an exchange or gift card. Keep the till receipt and check the conditions shown for that purchase.
Check your return method
For a tracked parcel keep the Royal Mail QR code or courier waybill until confirmation. If the item is damaged, use Selfridges Customer Services with the order number and photographs instead of marking it as an ordinary unwanted return.
John Lewis has its own online and shop-return arrangements; consult our John Lewis UK returns guide only for purchases made with that retailer.
