Peacocks Returns UK: 28 Days, Free Shops and Postal Costs

Where the 28 days start depends on collection

Peacocks’ online policy runs for 28 days from delivery for a parcel sent to an address. For Click & Collect, the clock starts when the order is collected at the selected store. Store-bought clothing has a separate 28-day policy from the purchase date with a valid till receipt. Write down the relevant date rather than counting from the order confirmation automatically.

An eligible website order can go to a shop free

Peacocks accepts qualifying online purchases for a refund in its stores; sending the same order by post instead is at the sender’s expense. In-store orders cannot be returned by post under the standard process. Keep the item unworn and unwashed, with labels and the proper proof of purchase. Payment method can affect which exchange or refund routes the store offers.

Some items need their seals intact

The posted policy excludes certain underwear, pierced products, gift cards and opened hygiene-sensitive products from ordinary change-of-mind returns. Swimwear requires its hygiene seal. If the supplied item is faulty or incorrect, Peacocks asks customers to contact its service team; the routine exclusion list should not be used to dismiss a genuine faulty-goods issue.

An online jumper collected in a Peacocks shop is too small. The relevant 28-day period begins at collection, and you can take it back to an eligible shop rather than pay for a parcel. An in-store purchase in the same shopping bag still needs its own till receipt.

See Peacocks’ official return and exchange breakdown for the payment-method table and exceptions.

If the item was sold by John Lewis, check that retailer’s purchase-channel rules and proof-of-purchase requirements instead.
