Lucy & Yak UK Returns: Shop Drop-Off, Postal Fees and Exchanges

Lucy & Yak sets out a 30-day change-of-mind period for eligible clothing. Its UK return options distinguish a free participating-store return, a £4.95 postal refund return and a £3.95 UK size or colour exchange. Store credit has its own displayed cost treatment. Use the current online return journey to match the fee to what you actually want, rather than buying your own postage assuming it will be reimbursed.

The one-year Quality Promise concerns faults

The brand presents a one-year Quality Promise for eligible manufacturing or material faults, separate from the normal returns window. For a piece with a fault within 30 days it advertises a free return and refund; for a fault developing later within the year it describes other possible resolutions. Keep the original order details and photographs of the defect; a change in personal taste is not a manufacturing fault.

Keep returnable clothing fit to resell

Try trousers on indoors, leave the label in place and follow the store or parcel instructions for a normal return. If you purchased Lucy & Yak clothing from a reseller rather than its own checkout, read that seller’s proof-of-purchase requirements first. Do not send unrelated purchases together simply because they are the same brand.

You bought dungarees online and can visit a participating Lucy & Yak shop. Returning them there may avoid the standard postal-refund charge. If you instead want a different size delivered, select the UK exchange route and check its separate quoted price.

See Lucy & Yak’s live UK returns, exchange and Quality Promise terms.

If the item was sold by John Lewis, check that retailer’s purchase-channel rules and proof-of-purchase requirements instead.
