Cancel Hinge+ or HingeX UK: Apple and Google Play Renewals

Hinge explains that removing your profile or uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel an existing Hinge+ or HingeX subscription. The cancellation route follows the platform that handled the purchase. For UK users who subscribed through Apple or Google Play, the corresponding store’s subscription page is the place to check the active renewal. The Hinge direct-purchase help gives the conditions for the transaction described here.

Look up the invoice or receipt for the plan, then open the same Apple ID or Google account that placed the order. Locate the Hinge subscription in the relevant store and complete the cancellation prompts. Check the renewal or expiry date shown on that screen and retain the store confirmation.

Why deleting the app is not cancellation

The controls for changing a plan are not interchangeable with ending a paid renewal. A store receipt also matters if you have a separate refund question; Hinge’s guidance distinguishes subscription management from the billing provider’s refund process. Do not enter account credentials into a website claiming to cancel Hinge on your behalf.

An old iPhone purchase on a new Android

Example: You signed up for Hinge+ on an old iPhone but now use HingeX features on an Android phone. The Android subscription list might not show the old Apple purchase. Check the Apple ID on the original purchase confirmation rather than assuming deleting the old app stopped the payment.

If the subscription is missing

If your store account does not show the charge, check whether you are using the same login that originally paid and review Hinge’s official help on subscription purchases. A screenshot of the transaction date and the correct support channel can help locate an account issue. The Hinge customer-support information explains the available help route.

Hinge+ or HingeX purchased on iPhone or Android is normally managed through the relevant app-store subscription controls. A similar mobile-billing distinction is explained in our Tinder billing guide.
