Bose UK Returns: 30-Day Direct Orders, Exchanges and Prepaid Labels
Bought Bose headphones from Bose.co.uk and decided they are not for you? The direct-order route is different from returning an identical pair bought at a high-street electronics shop. Bose’s UK return programme concerns purchases from Bose itself, and the brand requires its own return authorisation and label.
Which rules apply?
Bose describes a 30-day period from receipt for eligible direct purchases, with return delivery covered under its published conditions. Goods should be in good physical condition and include the accessories, cases and other parts originally supplied. It excludes categories such as personalised items, final-sale goods and gift cards from ordinary unwanted-item returns. Exchanges also require a purchase from the Bose website or by phone, and must be initiated through Bose support. If your Bose product was sold by Currys, start with the Currys purchase record; Bose’s direct-order portal will not recognise a Currys transaction.
The practical route
Find the direct-order details in My Bose or use the brand’s Start a Return page. Once approved, Bose emails its prepaid label and instructions. Package the headphones or speaker with the supplied parts and follow the designated carrier route. Sending the parcel with a self-booked courier without the issued RMA can make it harder to identify and may affect acceptance, so use the return label the brand provides whenever available.
If your order contains more than one item
A speaker arrived with an optional gift-wrapping charge and you now want to return it. Do not assume the price of wrapping and outward delivery is treated in exactly the same way as the speaker: Bose publishes a separate list of items and services excluded from ordinary refund amounts. Check your purchase breakdown before interpreting the refund confirmation.
Refunds and getting help
Bose says it generally processes qualifying card and PayPal refunds within several business days after receiving a return, but the payment method and other circumstances can affect the timeline. If the item is faulty or a replacement has already been issued, consult the product-support and warranty route rather than assuming the 30-day unwanted-order process applies.
Check Bose’s published direct-order return instructions for the latest steps applicable to the original purchase. The additional official guidance explains the related process.
