Pooch & Mutt Returns: Unopened Food and Subscription Renewals

Pooch & Mutt’s stated policy accepts returns of qualifying unopened products within 30 days when they remain suitable for resale. Opened food is excluded from its ordinary change-of-mind route for hygiene and safety reasons. Check the seal before testing a new flavour with your dog; if the delivery is wrong or a bag arrived damaged, report the order problem to customer care instead.

Subscription changes need to happen before processing

The company says it sends subscription reminder emails three days ahead of renewal to allow changes or a skipped delivery. Review the upcoming order in your account before the processing point. If a renewed parcel has already been processed and is no longer wanted, the direct-store help explains that qualifying unopened goods can be sent back, usually at the customer’s expense.

Free labels relate to mistakes by the seller

Pooch & Mutt offers free UK return labels when it sent an incorrect product or made an order error; a standard unwanted order normally requires the customer to cover return postage. Put the six-digit order number and contact details inside the sealed parcel and retain tracking. A refund notice is sent once the warehouse receives the return, with the payment provider’s timeline following afterwards.

Your subscription renews while you are away and the next food bag remains sealed. Check whether the parcel has already been processed, then use the account and return instructions; opening the bag to sample it could rule out an ordinary return.
