DEICHMANN UK Returns: 366 Days, Free Evri and Shop Exchanges
DEICHMANN’s UK return FAQ gives a notably long 366-day return period for qualifying purchases and says returns are free. An online order may be brought to one of its shops or returned through the retailer’s Evri process. This is its own policy for eligible merchandise, not a time limit that applies to every shoe seller. See DEICHMANN’s UK guidance on a year-long return policy—what it actually covers for the original policy wording.
Free shop and Evri options
Before leaving home, decide whether a shop return is easier than obtaining an Evri return label. If you post the parcel, include the individual return form for the right item and do not combine separate orders into an unmarked package. Use the retailer’s return instructions to choose the official channel, then keep the receipt until the refund notification arrives.
Why a postal return is not a size swap
The warehouse cannot arrange a different size or colour as a like-for-like exchange: DEICHMANN says a postal return should be followed by a new online order. Check shop availability if you need a different pair urgently, rather than expecting a replacement to arrive automatically after your parcel is scanned. DEICHMANN’s further instructions explain the related conditions.
A pair purchased from schuh has a different retailer receipt and return procedure from a direct-order pair.
An order-specific example
Suppose school shoes bought online do not fit, but the correct size is available locally. Bringing the shoes and proof of purchase to an eligible shop is a different route from mailing the pair back and making a fresh order. Do not treat a carrier scan as proof that the refund has already been issued.
Keeping the refund and order references straight
The FAQ asks customers to allow time for delivery to the warehouse, internal checks and the original payment refund. Its UK customer-service details are published alongside the returns information if the expected confirmation fails to arrive.
