& Other Stories UK Returns: September Portal Change, Shops and Sale Items
If you are looking for the preprinted returns form in a recent & Other Stories delivery, first check when you ordered. The retailer’s updated UK instructions say orders placed on or after 8 September use an online returns portal instead of the former paper form and label. An older order may still have the enclosed paperwork.
Understanding the purchase conditions
The current UK page allows 28 days after delivery for full-price items and 14 days for sale and Last Chance goods. Online purchases can be returned to & Other Stories stores in the UK with the relevant electronic receipt or delivery note. Online orders collected in store must be returned in store and cannot be registered through the postal portal. Postal returns require registration; the retailer says unregistered mail returns cannot be accepted. If the purchase was made through Next, the Next confirmation is the relevant starting point, not an & Other Stories return label.
Where to start
For a newer home-delivered order, enter the order number and purchasing email in the portal, choose the items and return reason, then select the available locker, parcel-shop or collection option. The system provides the QR code or label and sends a confirmation email. Keep that email and the drop-off evidence. For a store return, bring the purchase record and the item rather than registering a parcel that you do not intend to send.
Consider this purchase scenario
A discounted blouse and a full-price coat may arrive in the same bag. They do not necessarily share the same deadline, so check the sale label against the 14-day provision before postponing the entire return. If the original order was Click & Collect, taking the parcel to a postal locker is not the process shown for that order type.
Following up
The official page asks customers to allow up to 14 days from posting for delivery and processing. If your refund is still missing afterwards, contact its customer-care team with the tracking receipt, order number and return confirmation. Do not confuse the processing email with the date a bank displays the credit.
