A takeaway with one missing side is not the same as receiving someone else’s whole order. Uber Eats provides different help routes for those situations, and choosing the right description helps the order team see what actually happened.
Report a problem with the order
Open the purchase in Uber Eats order history and select the issue that matches the delivery. For a missing or incorrect item, the official help asks you to identify the exact food or quantity and to provide a photograph where possible. A whole order that belongs to another customer has its own wrong-order route.
Missing versus incorrect meals
Uber Eats says it cannot replace an incorrect order through that help flow, although a refund may be available after review. Do not place a replacement order on the assumption that a separate first-order refund is guaranteed. If an item sold by weight was wrong, note both the ordered and delivered quantities.

One order with several missing items
If the chips are absent but the main meal arrived correctly, report the missing item rather than saying the whole delivery never arrived. Keep the receipt, order ID and photograph of what was delivered without sharing someone else’s personal order details publicly.
Keep the delivery evidence
Follow the issue’s official support screen to check any decision or credit. If you purchased directly from the restaurant rather than through Uber Eats, contact the company that accepted your payment instead of using a platform order that does not exist.
Our Deliveroo refund guide covers another delivery app; its order-help controls do not apply to an Uber Eats receipt.
