The Range Returns UK: 14 Days, Marketplace Items and Large Collections

The Range has two return paths hiding behind the same checkout: goods sold by The Range and items supplied by Marketplace Partners. The quickest way to avoid a wasted store trip is to establish which seller fulfilled the item before choosing store, post or collection.

Check the seller before acting

The Range says unwanted items sold by it can be returned in unused condition within 14 days of receipt. A change-of-mind return can carry a fee, while faulty or transit-damaged items can be returned free of charge within the stated policy period.

These points come from The Range’s The Range official UK guidance. Most smaller Range-sold online items can be returned to a store within 14 days with the delivery note.

The detail that changes the route

How this can play out

You ordered a patio set and a small lamp. If the patio set came from a marketplace partner while the lamp was sold by The Range, expect separate instructions. The lamp may be suitable for a shop return, while the larger partner item can require a collection agreed through support.

For another broad UK retailer with a different store-and-post structure, our John Lewis returns guide is useful when the purchase was made at John Lewis instead.

Before you hand anything over

For The Range, keep the order number or receipt, the exact item name, the purchase or delivery date, and any return or tracking reference. Photographs may be requested before some Marketplace Partner returns are authorised.

Finish through the correct channel

Use the order details and The Range help centre to identify the seller. For a marketplace item, follow the partner-specific return instructions and keep any photo request, collection booking and tracking confirmation.

Marketplace Partner goods have a separate policy and cannot be returned to The Range stores. Photographs may be requested before some Marketplace Partner returns are authorised.
