E-receipts, QR codes and return eligibility
The UK help area offers return-policy information and separate guidance for home returns. Its account help says My Orders contains the invoice and E-ticket, and that a QR code on the app can link certain in-store purchases to your account. A gift receipt is treated differently from a normal e-receipt. The current availability and cost of a collection should be taken from the official method offered for the relevant order rather than assumed for every UK purchase.
Using the UK account or shop route
Open My Orders or retrieve the confirmation email and inspect the return options for the purchase. If returning to a participating shop, display the E-receipt or the receipt QR code requested there. If arranging home collection, register the relevant items, follow the generated packing and carrier instructions, and keep the collection confirmation.
When a paper receipt is not available
For example, you bought a coat in-store but purchased a second size online later. If the store purchase was linked to your account by the app QR code, you may be able to retrieve its e-receipt; do not treat the online coat’s invoice as proof that the first coat came from the web shop. Process the two purchases against their own records.
Checking the return status
If you cannot locate the receipt or a collection does not appear in your order options, use the official UK help and contact functions. Do not invent a courier route or use an overseas Massimo Dutti return label. If the clothing was actually sold by Next, use that retailer’s transaction reference and its own return routes.
