Turning off a Wix website plan is not the same as deleting your website or cancelling every charge on your Wix account. The platform’s help distinguishes the site plan from domain registrations, mailboxes and other paid apps. Check the individual subscriptions before assuming one cancellation button ends everything.
Understanding the purchase conditions
Wix says its first-time Premium and Studio website plans carry a 14-day money-back period. Cancelling within that qualifying initial window ends the plan straight away and triggers the stated refund. Cancelling after that period normally stops the next renewal while leaving the paid site plan active until the end of its billing cycle. That first-time website-plan guarantee does not automatically cover renewals, upgrades, separate domains or third-party app subscriptions. If you paid for Adobe rather than a Wix plan, cancellation and any applicable early-termination charges depend on Adobe’s own subscription terms.
Where to start
Open Premium Subscriptions from your Wix account and select the plan attached to the correct site. Under More Actions, choose Cancel Plan and confirm the action. Check the expiry date and the renewal setting afterwards; do not rely only on the fact that you clicked a button. Review the separate subscription entries for domains, business email and apps, and inspect the site address and functions that would be affected when the plan expires.
Consider this purchase scenario
Imagine you renewed a website plan last month but still pay separately for a domain and an email account. Cancelling the site plan will not necessarily stop the other two invoices. Equally, a request made during the new-plan refund window differs from cancelling a renewal outside the guarantee. Match the dated invoice to the exact Wix product before asking about a payment.
Following up
For a missing refund, the Wix refund page explains the request route and exclusions; use the billing record and plan identifier rather than submitting unrelated card information into a third-party form. The guide is about Wix’s published administration process, not an assessment of any individual financial claim.
Check Wix’s official UK returns policy for the latest steps applicable to the original purchase. The additional official guidance explains the related process.
