Cancel Discord Nitro UK: Recurring Billing, Mobile Purchases and Boosts

Discord separates cancelling Nitro from deleting a Discord account or simply leaving a server. The official Nitro help describes the subscription controls for purchases billed by Discord itself and directs mobile-store purchases to the relevant store workflow. First establish who collected payment for your Nitro plan. The Discord Nitro customer returns guidance gives the conditions for the transaction described here.

Future billing and remaining boosts

The end of paid Nitro access and the handling of server boosts or other benefits are separate questions from the date the cancellation request is submitted. Read the subscription summary shown in your account for the remaining paid period. Do not promise yourself an automatic refund for a renewal simply because you turned off future billing.

Check the Nitro payment route

For a desktop-billed membership, sign into the Discord account holding Nitro and open User Settings and the subscription-management page. Follow the cancellation prompts and check the resulting renewal status. For Apple or Google Play billing, locate Discord in the store account tied to the original receipt and finish the store’s cancellation steps instead.

Example: Imagine you purchased Nitro through Apple on a former phone, but the desktop Discord client now offers no cancellation action. Open the original Apple ID’s subscriptions rather than trying to cancel an unrelated Discord account or remove a server boost to stop the charge.

Following up on an active status

If Discord still shows an active paid plan after you complete the relevant store cancellation, gather the store receipt and the account’s subscription display before opening an official support ticket. Use the Nitro help centre for the current platform-specific instructions. The Discord Nitro contact page explains the available help route.

Nitro is a recurring service, while one-off digital purchases can follow a different refund path. For that distinction in another gaming context, see the Steam digital-purchase guide.
